One of the highlights of IDL Festival. The 2vs2 Open Styles battle brings different styles together in one competition, leading up to IDL’s main event: The Great 8.
Following the IDL Open Styles concept, duos pick 1–2 music styles. Each team dances both their chosen style and their opponent’s, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement.
On Sunday afternoon, duos compete in the Open Styles preselections. Eight qualifying duos advance to The Great 8, where they face four invited Battle Guest duos in the Top 8.
From there, eight duos battle their way through the rounds, bringing different styles, approaches and combinations to the floor.
