International DanceLeague – Battle Event 2
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, De Doelen in Rotterdam hosts the second event of the International Dance League (IDL) season. Building on the energy of the summer kick-off, dancers from across the globe will once again face off in 1VS1 Hiphop Freestyle and 1VS1 Open Styles, where creativity and improvisation take center stage. Each category is open to all ages, with €500 prize money to be won.

Along side the battles, the Teenagers draft pick (ages12–17) plays a key role, with qualifications and team selections held through a Draft Pick system led by four coaches and guest battlers. This sets the stage for young talents to train weekly and prepare for the IDL Main Event in October.

Blending competition, talent development, and a dynamic mix of styles, from hiphop and house to dancehall, breaking, krump, waacking, and more. Battle Event 2 strengthens the next generation of dancers while celebrating street dance culture on an international stage.
