Theater Night is a curated evening that brings street styles into dialogue with contemporary theatre. Developed in co-presentation with Theater Rotterdam, the programme follows one clear line: street styles as an artistic language with something urgent to say about the world today.
The evening brings together an international main production alongside shorter works by Dutch talent, offering a mix of scale, perspective and style. Together, these productions show that street styles are not a fixed genre, but a versatile and urgent art form — rooted in battle culture, yet unmistakably at home on the theatre stage.
The evening also features the Showcase Competition, presenting new choreographic talent from the street styles scene, followed by a post-show talk with the makers.
Theater Night is designed for anyone curious about where battle culture meets the stage — no prior experience with battles required. After the final bow, the night continues at Club & Community, where audiences, dancers and makers meet without competition.
